"Today the Texas House of Representatives adopted rules of procedure for the 83rd Texas Legislature. The rules unanimously adopted today ensure that business conducted in the people’s House will be handled in an open, respectful, and efficient manner. AUSTIN, TEXAS (December 3, 2012) State Rep. Myra Crownover (R - Denton) has assumed the position of Chairman of the GOP Caucus of the Texas House of Representatives. Rep. Crownover will hold the position until new Board Members are elected at the Caucus meeting in early January.
A Message to the Voters in Texas House District 64
It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you for the last ten years. When I came to Austin I had three priorities. First and foremost, I wanted to make sure that Texas government was respectful of the taxpayer. Second, I wanted to ensure that the citizens, organizations, and institutions that make Denton County great had a strong voice and a strong advocate in the Legislature. Finally, I wanted to take on some larger problems and implement common sense solutions that would better the lives of all Texans long after I am gone.
